Center for Whole Body Wellness
People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think that what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.

My name is Natasha Cottingham, and I am the owner and primary practitioner of Center for Whole Body Wellness. I view the body as a valuable tool for understanding and discovering who we are. I began The Center for Whole Body Wellness shortly after graduating from The SOMA Institute in 2000.
I gravitated towards SOMA because of a personal injury where my back was feeling like steel at the young age of twenty-one. I felt like I had aged three times my actual age in a short period of time. I have always been extremely active; dancing, yoga, biking, walking so when this began to happen to my physicality I panicked and worried about my condition becoming worse. I was fortunate to come across someone who had already been through the SOMA series and experienced positive and dramatic results.
I am now integrating my experience and knowledge of the body with my work as a SOMA Practitioner in the University District. I am continuously amazed and in awe by what SOMA makes possible for my clients. Through using SOMA as a tool for my personal healing I have recovered from many injuries - emotional, mental and physical. I offer my clients a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic space to make the changes they want to make in their life.
